About

I am a student at the Maryland Institute College of Art, specializing in stop-motion animation. Outside my studies, I volunteer for the Kids First Initiative, creating GIF animations that combine my passion for animation with community engagement.

During my time at Art and Design High School, I focused on digital arts and animation. I organized and facilitated an Adobe Animate workshop for my peers, showcasing advanced tools, mentored younger students in their final animation projects, and helped review portfolio websites.

Outside the classroom, I interned with the Summer Design Institute and AND Creates my high school’s student-driven agency. My dedication to improving my animation skills led me to enroll in online courses with Aardman Academy and Domestika, where I studied character design and puppet fabrication. Additionally, I attended the School of Visual Arts Pre-College program, expanding my understanding of 3-D computer animation.

Beyond academics, I've contributed as a puppeteer with Playlab NYC and organized Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, aiming to foster good playing habits among a mix of skilled and first-time players.

Certified in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Adobe Animate and skilled in iMovie, Procreate, and Autodesk Maya, I am committed to refining my skills and exploring the creative boundaries of animation.

My long-term ambition is to contribute to LAIKA Studios’ groundbreaking stop-motion productions, aligning my dedication with their commitment to innovation. I aspire to intern and join their fabrication department, specializing in designing and crafting puppets, sets, and props.
